Project Overview

This project was created in August 2021 for the class “Front-End Web Development II”.  I used advanced HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery to design “Vietnam Kitchen”.

Appetizers

  • Xiu Mai (Dumplings 4 pcs – steamed pork and shrimp dumplings) – $4.25

  • Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Hue Style vermicelli noodle soup with combination of beef shank, lemon grass, Vietnamese mint, pork hock, pork cake OR beef only) – $12.75
  • Bun Rieu (tomatoes-egg-crab base noodle soup with shrimp, pork ball, tofu, spare ribs and dry shrimp) – $12.99

Rice Dishes

  • Com Chien Tom (fried rice with shrimp, carrot, peas, and onions) – $10.25
  • Com Suon Nuong (char-broiled boneless pork chops – $11.99
  • Com Suon Bi Cha (char-broiled boneless pork chop, meat cake, and shredded pork) – $12.95

Vegetarian Dishes

  • Hu Tieu Chay (Veggie Tofu rice noodle soup, mockduck, broccoli, mushrooms, carrots) – $12.25
  • Bun Bo Hue Chay (spicy mid-country style tofu noodles soup with lemon grass) – $14.99
  • Hu Tieu Bo Kho Chay (rice noodles soup with tofu stew and lemon grass) – $13.95

Services

When it comes to services, our restaurant focuses on its customers and customers’ satisfaction. Our restaurant offers a warm, friendly, and healthy environment for all society classes. We have all kind of customers, not just Vietnamese people. Many foreigners come to our place and they said they really like Vietnam Kitchen. (You can see their comments in the section Customer Testimonials)

We believe the appearance of our employees has a big impression for our customers. In Vietnam Kitchen, all employees are required to wear black paint and white shirt. The unique uniform helps customers know who is working for the restaurant in case they need help.

I am a huge fan of Vietnamese cuisine and really wanted to find a good Vietnamese restaurant and Banh Mi place near my work. I checked here on Google and find out Vietnam Kitchen. I went to try it for the first time and was instantly a fan.

The restaurant is small and more of a take out place. However, there is nothing small about the courtesy of the employees and taste of the food. I grabbed a order of Spaghetti Basil and a Spam and BBQ pork Banh Mi. They were both amazing but the Spaghetti Basil was really the show stopper. The flavors of the Spaghetti Basil and portion size was great for the price.

Definitely a great find!!

I was introduced to Vietnam Kitchen by a friend who catered her birthday party with them. Food was very fresh and flavorful. Since then, I have gone back for take out and have always been really happy about their service, friendliness and quality of food. The staff is always helpful and super friendly.

Ordering over the phone is really convenient and it’s ready to pick up in less than 15 minutes for a dinner order. Their prices can be a little higher than other Vietnamese restaurants, but quality is better and the customer service is awesome. Also they are a family restaurant who also own Pho Ba Co down the street, so I love to support local places when I can!
